Office of Crime Prevention
The Office of Crime Prevention is the lead government agency responsible for coordinating crime prevention and community safety initiatives within Western Australia.
The Office of Crime Prevention:
* Initiates crime prevention public awareness campaigns
* Develops and coordinates strategic and holistic policy
* Provides advice to State and Local Government
* Undertakes research to establish best practice community safety and crime prevention strategies
* Informs about relevant training and development programs
* Provides grant funding for community safety and crime prevention initiatives

Curtin University Office of Research and Development
The Office of Research and Development at Curtin coordinates research activity across Faculties, developing quality research while promoting Curtin's research culture.
Curtin has an overarching research objective of solving real world problems and has strong strategic partnerships with industry and government.
